Tiny Letter Sweater Tree Ornaments Knitting Pattern

Knit little sweater ornaments, then add initials, numbers or a nature motif with duplicate stitch. A small amount of yarn makes a personal decoration or gift tag.

Body about 3.5 × 3.5 in / 8.9 × 8.9 cm, with underarm sleeve length about 2 in / 5.1 cm. These are decorations, not wearable sweaters. Smaller yarn and needles make smaller ornaments.

About 13 g / 28 yd of worsted yarn, 4 mm (US 6) double-pointed needles or circular needles for magic loop, markers, waste yarn, scissors, tapestry needle and 8 in / 20 cm hanging string. Gauge: approximately 5 stitches and 6 rows per inch / 2.54 cm; exact gauge is less critical for an ornament. Requires working in the round, raglan increases and duplicate stitch.
