Size & Fit
The finished flat dimensions shown in the PDF are 8½ in wide × 4¼ in high (approximately 21.6 × 10.8 cm). One size is supplied; no numeric head-circumference range is stated. Check gauge and fit before seaming.
Yarn, Tools & Skill Level
Weight 4 yarn, 190 yd / approximately 174 m, held double throughout. The example uses Lion Brand Wool-Ease. US 11 / 8 mm circular needles, two 3-inch stitch holders and a darning needle. Gauge: 22 stitches × 17 rows per 4 in / 10 cm in pattern. You should be comfortable with knit/purl ribbing, holding stitches, joining the divided sections and seaming.
