Moon Moth Night Sky Sweater Knitting Pattern

A detailed moth design makes this sweater a substantial colourwork project. The body is worked from the bottom up; sleeves are knitted separately and joined with seams.

Four size-range PDFs cover finished chest circumferences from 34–64 in / 86.4–162.6 cm. Use the measurement table in the relevant size-range file to choose the intended fit.

Main and contrast yarns, circular and double-pointed needles, stitch markers, a yarn needle, stitch holders and a crochet hook for seaming. Yarn quantities, needles and gauge vary by size range; use the matching file rather than mixing tables. Charted colourwork, working in the round and flat, shaping, seaming and picking up a collar. Familiarity with reading charts and managing colourwork is useful.
