Forest Flower Hand Warmers Knitting Pattern

Knit colourful fingerless mitts with a forest-flower motif. Ribbed cuffs and a shaped thumb make them a practical accessory for cool days.

Small length: 17.5 cm / 6.9 in; large: 20 cm / 7.9 in. Both have a 5 cm / 2 in cuff and about 8 cm / 3.1 in from wrist to thumb. Laid-flat cuff widths stretch from 8 to 11 cm / 3.1 to 4.3 in (small), and 10 to 13 cm / 3.9 to 5.1 in (large).

Aran-weight yarn in three colours, 3.25 mm double-pointed needles, two markers, tapestry needle and waste yarn. Gauge: 5 stitches and 7 rows per inch / 2.54 cm. Requires stranded colourwork, working in the round and thumb shaping; charts and photographs guide the details.
