Everyday Cozy Fingerless Gloves Knitting Pattern

Knit a pair of fingerless gloves with a soft mohair strand, shaped thumbs and twisted-rib edges. Worked bottom up in the round, with separate shaping instructions for the right and left hand.

One size, intended for a wrist circumference of approximately 6.7 in / 17 cm. Finished length approximately 7.9 in / 20 cm. Check gauge and the stated wrist measurement before starting.

25 g of fingering/sport yarn, such as Eco Baby (191 yd / 175 m per 50 g), held with 12.5 g of lace mohair, such as Mohair Royal (235 yd / 215 m per 25 g). Use 3.5 mm / US 4 circular or double-pointed needles. Gauge: 24 stitches and 32 rounds per 4 in / 10 cm in stockinette. Techniques include twisted rib, left/right increases, separating thumb stitches and Italian bind-off. You will also need a removable marker, scrap yarn and tapestry needle.
