About This Pattern
Knit a V-neck raglan cardigan from the top down. Traditional shaping gives equal room to front and back; Curvy shaping adds room in front. The PDFs include waist, A-line, sleeve and button-band adjustment advice. Both versions are included.

Size & Fit
For a buttoned fit, the source recommends at least 2 in / 5 cm of positive bust ease. Also check waist and upper-arm fit. Choose the version by your front/back proportions. Metric values below are converted from the source inch sizes; this avoids a source typo in the 60-inch metric entry.

Yarn, Tools & Skill Level
Fingering yarn: 1,030–2,345 yd / about 940–2,145 m by size. 3.75 mm / US 5 main needles and 3.25 mm / US 3 finishing needles; circular needles and DPNs or the appropriate sleeve method. Stitch markers, waste yarn, yarn needle and optional lightweight buttons. Gauge: 24 stitches and 36 rows per 4 in / 10 cm after blocking. Skills: raglan increases, knit/purl, picking up stitches, working flat and in the round, decreases and finishing.
