Evergreen Sprig Mittens Knitting Pattern

Knit leafy cable mittens with a double-layer cuff and shaped thumb gusset. The sprig motif is worked in small cables, with written instructions for five sizes.

Sizes S, M, L, XL and 2X. Hand circumference: 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9 in / 17.8, 19.1, 20.3, 21.6, 22.9 cm. Hand length: 6, 6.5, 7.5, 7.75, 8.5 in / 15.2, 16.5, 19.1, 19.7, 21.6 cm. The pattern recommends slight positive ease; compare both hand measurements with the size chart.

Approximately 80 (90, 100, 115, 125) g or 153 (172, 191, 220, 239) yd / 140 (157, 175, 201, 219) m of Originally Lovely Lana. Needles: 3.5 mm / US 4 and 4 mm / US 6, double-pointed or circular for magic loop. Gauge: 23 stitches and 32 rows per 4 in / 10 cm in stockinette. Intermediate skills: small-circumference knitting, small cables, increases, decreases and shaping. Stitch markers, scrap yarn or holder and tapestry needle are needed.
