About This Pattern
The socks begin at the cuff and continue through a textured leg, heel flap, heel turn, gusset and foot. Finish the shaped toe with Kitchener stitch. Written mock-cable repeats are provided for each size; the companion shorty page changes the cuff and leg while using the main heel and foot instructions.

Size & Fit
Five sizes fit a circumference around the ball of the foot of 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in / 18, 20, 23, 25 and 28 cm. These are foot measurements, not finished-sock measurements. The designer describes a relaxed fit and suggests choosing the smaller size if between sizes and wanting a firmer fit. Foot length is adjustable.

Gauge: 38 stitches per 4 in / 10 cm and 28 rows per 2 in / 5.1 cm in mock cable and ribbing in the round. Requires working in the round, increases/decreases, heel shaping and Kitchener stitch.
