Airy Mohair Mesh Sweater Knitting Pattern

Knit a cropped mohair sweater with a sheer stockinette body and full sleeves gathered into ribbed cuffs. Two matching body panels are worked flat, the sleeves in the round, then the pieces are sewn together.

Two sizes: S/M and L/XL. Finished body width: 20.9 (23.6) in / 53 (60) cm, measured flat. Body length: 18.5 (20.5) in / 47 (52) cm. Sleeves: approximately 22.4 in / 57 cm long. The shape is oversized and cropped; check the schematic and gauge before choosing.

3–4 (4–5) balls of lace-weight mohair-silk, approximately 75–100 (100–125) g. The sample uses Drops Kid-Silk, 75% mohair and 25% silk, 230 yd / 210 m per 25 g. Use 5 mm / US 8 needles for ribbing and 6 mm / US 10 for the body and sleeves. Gauge: 13 stitches and 17 rows per 4 in / 10 cm. Ribbing uses yarn held double; stockinette uses one strand.
